Netflix currently offers four monthly subscription plans for Indian Users starting from Rs. 299 and going up to Rs. 799. Netflix is now hoping to get and more users with its new long-term yearly subscription plans in India.
Netflix India Plans
After launching a new mobile-friendly plan of ₹199/ month a few months ago. It has confirmed to Gadget360 that it is now planning to launch more affordable but long-term subscription plans for Indian users. The company has already started testing these Netflix HD plans in India for select users. These new subscription plans might show up on your Netflix application if you’re lucky enough.
The Online Video streaming platform, Netflix India is offering a discount of up to 50% on yearly subscriptions. You can also check out the screenshot of the new plans above.
Netflix’s cheap yearly subscription plans: Testing
Netflix plans India’s new long-term annual subscription plans will be much less expensive than the currently existing ones.
Rs. 1,919: 3-month validity and is 20% cheaper compared with the existing ₹2,397 ( Rs. 799×3) plan.
Rs. 3,359: 6-month validity and is 30% cheaper from the current plan ( Rs. 4,794).
Rs. 4,799: Yearly subscription plan is cheaper by 50% from the existing plan Rs. 9,588 for 12 months.
These plans are, however, available only to some select users, and they may see different options.
Netflix India Subscription Plans:
The Online Streaming giant currently offers four programs in India, with its premium four user plan costing ₹799 per month.
- Rs. 199: It is the base/ cheapest plan and is for mobile and tablet users at ₹199 per month.
- Rs. 499: In this monthly plan, you can watch on both laptops, TVs as well as on mobiles/tablets but will allow you only on a single screen at any given moment.
- Rs. 649: This plan will enable us to watch on two screens at the same time. It is particularly useful for families who are watching different shows or movies at the same time.
- Rs. 799: This one allows all of you to watch on four different screens, and you can also view it on ultra HD mode.

The Netflix lifetime subscription price was a much need shot for Netflix to combat against its rivals like Hotstar and PrimeVideos.
