Motorola Vows – 2020 Flagship Smartphone

The Tech Summit in Hawai featured Motorola Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, Motorola Vows, to launch flagship smartphones in early 2020. The Snapdragon 765 and 865 chipset will give the smartphone company a base to enter into the premium flagship segment.




Lenovo owner smartphone maker has also put out a variety of mid-range as well as budget smartphones this year. Motorola launch also promised us with the Motorola Razr (2019) foldable phone earlier this month, and it sure looks like the company has no plans of stopping any time sooner. You might be wondering is the 2019 Motorola Razr 5G model?

In an official statement by Sergio Buniac, President at Motorola Mobility, stated, “Motorola will proceed the 5G gen with our expanded  lineup for Motorola 5G phones solutions in 2020 – driven by Snapdragon 765 and Snapdragon 865 platforms, making our place in the premium device.”

Motorola announces new phones

Although Motorola hasn’t shared any specs, the Motorola Razr will be the company’s first attempt to build a premium phone. Yet it may not sport any flagship chipset, but the foldability offers a premium hardware experience. The statement mentioned above hints that the company has already started work on Motorola flagship phone 2019.

However, the company has shared that it’ll be having a new premium product to unveil in the early 2020s. Moreover, Motorola hasn’t added any new device to its flagship model in a long time. It would be interesting to see what the Motorola flagship smartphones launch in the next year or a 5G capability in Motorola Razr?



Chipset announced last night would be featured in most of the Android flagships smartphones launching next year. Samsung’s much-loved Galaxy S11 series will most likely be the first to use this Snapdragon 865 chipset. Moreover, Xiaomi Mi 10 has been confirmed to come with this flagship chipset.
