Some PlayStation Plus Subscribers Will Lose Access to a Popular Free Game

playstation plus subscribers lose free game

As the headline suggests, some PS4 and PS5 subscribers are losing a free game. This week, Sony released April’s free PlayStation Plus games, which include three games for some PlayStation plus subscribers and two for others.

If you’re a PS Plus subscriber in Asia, you’ll be unable to play one of this month’s PS4 games because of the time zone difference. Normally, when a game is removed from the PlayStation Store, a new free game replaces it, but that wasn’t the case this month. There is no explanation as to why subscribers in that time zone will only get two games this month.

Hood: Outlaws and Legends and Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom is the April month PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 exclusives games for subscribers in Asia. If you are someone who is from the Asian time zone will miss out on is the month’s greatest game, Slay the Spire.

Slay the Spire – Playstation Plus Subscribers Lose Free Game

Slay the Spire is a deck-building game made by MegaCrit and published by Humble Bundle. Following its initial release on Steam Early Access in 2017, it was fully released on PC in 2019. Since, then the games have already debuted on PS4, Xbox One, iOS, and Nintendo Switches via different stages.

The official pitch of the game reads:

Craft a unique deck, encounter bizarre creatures, discover relics of immense power, and Slay the Spire!

As always, you can bookmark, TechyCoder.com to check later for more updates on this situation. But since April’s month’s lineup goes live this Tuesday, it’s unlikely that anything will change because there isn’t enough time to make a last-minute change.
