Find My Mobile was reported sending out a weird 1 notification along with another ‘1’ below it to its Galaxy smartphones. Several Samsung Galaxy users across the globe received this odd Samsung 1 notification on their devices, as seen on Reddit and Samsung Community forum.
Huh. Girlfriend and I just had exactly the same Samsung push notification: her Note 10+ and my Galaxy Z Flip each alerted with a Find My Mobile notification. When tapped, it disappeared. Different Samsung accounts on each phone.

Well, the weird Samsung 1 notification that was sends by the South Korean smartphone giant. The issue appears due to some internal testing of the software in the Find My Mobile app. And, the notification disappears when the user taps on it.
After the mistakenly sent notification went viral, the company came with a reply mentioned below.
Recently, a notification about “Find My Mobile 1” occurred on a limited number of Galaxy devices. This was sent unintentionally during an internal test and there is no effect on your device. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our customers. ^LF

The issue seems to have affected a broad scale of devices, ranging from mid-level devices to flagship handsets. As I mentioned earlier, users are reporting this weird notification error from different parts of the world. The notification glitch affected the countries like US, Germany, Australia, and significant regions of Asia.
If you received the ‘1’ notification, do not get confused that your device has been compromised. At least, the company came up with an apology for inconvenience to its users. However, we will have to wait for Samsung’s official statement for clear understanding. We will keep updating you once Samsung issues clear official statements and stay tuned for more updates.
Moreover, it is worth noting that this is not the first time we see such weird notifications to users. Last year, we saw OnePlus made the same mistake by sending out weird Chinese text characters to their 7 Pro users similar to 1 notification in find my phone.
