Did you know, iPhone has a water eject shortcut? It allows users to remove water from their iPhone’s speaker grills. This feature can be useful if you accidentally drop your phone in the water. The newer iPhones are water-resistant, however, when the phone is immersed in water the same cannot be said for the speakers. You may have to eject water from the speaker.
The method is based on the fact that playing a certain frequency of sound can cause the water to vibrate and eventually be expelled from the device’s speakers. This feature was inspired by the Apple Watch Series allowing users to eject water from the Apple Watch’s Speaker Grill by playing a low-frequency sound that forces the water out of the speaker.
However, there’s also an app for that, which works great for android and iPhones too. It also does the same but allows you to choose the higher frequency of sound.
So, if you want to know how to eject water from your iPhone using Siri Shortcuts, this article will walk you through how to eject water from your iPhone and how to set up this shortcut.
Note: This water-eject Siri shortcut feature works with iOS 16 as well.
